Privacy and Cookie Policy
brandbaker.pl website — last updated: July 2026
1. Basic information
This privacy policy applies to the website available at brandbaker.pl.
The controller of personal data and operator of the website is: Jakub Piekarski, ul. Parkowa 14/42, 81-549 Gdynia, Poland.
The controller can be contacted by email at: hello@brandbaker.pl
The controller processes personal data only to the extent necessary to fulfil the following purposes:
handling enquiries submitted through the contact form,
providing the ordered design and web services,
presenting the website’s offer.
Information about website users is obtained in two ways:
through data entered voluntarily in the contact forms,
through cookies stored on the user’s end device.
2. Data security
All connections to the website are protected by an SSL certificate, which means that data transmitted between the browser and the server is encrypted and inaccessible to third parties.
The controller regularly updates the access passwords to the data processing systems, using complex passwords (min. 8 characters, containing lowercase and uppercase letters, digits and special characters).
The software used to operate the website and process data is kept up to date.
The controller makes regular backups of the collected data.
3. Hosting and technical infrastructure
The website is hosted on the servers of thecamels.org.
As part of standard technical operation, the hosting provider maintains server logs, in which the following may be recorded:
the URLs of the requested resources,
the timestamps of requests and responses,
identification of the client device in the HTTP protocol,
information about HTTP transaction errors,
the URL of the referring page (referer),
data about the user’s browser and IP address,
diagnostic data related to ordering services through the website,
data concerning email correspondence sent to the operator.
4. Your rights as a user
In justified cases, the controller may disclose personal data to third parties — only to the extent necessary to perform a contract or fulfil legal obligations. The recipients of the data may be:
the hosting service provider (on the basis of a data processing agreement).
Personal data is stored for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with applicable law (including accounting regulations). Data for marketing purposes is processed for no longer than 3 years.
You have the right to:
access your personal data,
request its rectification or completion,
request its erasure,
restrict the scope of processing,
transfer your data to another controller.
You have the right to object to the processing of your data for purposes arising from the controller’s legitimate interests (including profiling), unless there are overriding legal grounds superior to your interests and rights.
If you consider that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.
Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary in order to use the website’s features (e.g. sending a message through the contact form).
As part of the services provided, automated decision-making mechanisms, including profiling, may be used in order to perform a contract or carry out direct marketing.
Some data processing operations may involve transferring data outside the European Economic Area — in particular to the servers of analytics and advertising service operators based in the USA.
5. Contact forms
The website collects only the data entered voluntarily by the user through the forms.
The system may record technical connection parameters, such as the time of the request and the IP address.
In selected cases, the user’s email address may appear in the URL of the page containing the form — in order to link the data to a specific session.
Data from the forms is processed solely for the purpose arising from the function of the given form — sales contact, handling a design enquiry or registering a service. Each form contains a description of its purpose.
6. System logs
User activity on the website may be recorded in system logs. The collected data is used solely for administrative and website security purposes.
7. Analytics tools
The website uses Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA) to analyse traffic and user behaviour. Only anonymised data — without the possibility of identifying a specific individual — is transmitted to the analytics system. The service operates on the basis of cookies. You can manage your Google advertising preferences at: google.com/ads/preferences
8. Cookies
The website uses cookie technology.
Cookies are small text files stored on the user’s end device. They usually contain the name of the website, an expiry date and a unique identifier.
The operator of the cookies placed on the website is Jakub Piekarski (brandbaker.pl).
Cookies are used for the following purposes:
maintaining the user’s session after logging in (no need to log in again on subsequent subpages),
fulfilling the analytics purposes described in section 7.
The website uses two types of cookies:
session cookies — stored until the browser is closed,
persistent cookies — stored for the period specified in the file’s parameters or until manually deleted.
By default, web browsers accept cookies. You can change this in your browser settings — either by blocking cookies entirely or by deleting them selectively.
Disabling cookies may limit the availability of some of the website’s features.
Cookies may also be placed by external partners, in particular: Google (Google LLC, USA), Facebook (Meta Platforms, USA), Twitter/X (X Corp., USA).
